Just announced that a new major release of virtual earth will happen on the 7th of November. No details of the changes yet but it is a good thing that the guys let us know so we can be prepared to update our apps next week.
What features will we see? They were playing with street side imagery, so you feel like your driving down the road. From a dev point of view we have been asking for events on polygons (so we can edit them), multi-destination routing and reverse geocoding.
I guess the extreme would be a solution to compete with Google Earth – the 3D desktop application. We can only sit back and see what happens…
